From Kelowna (coming from Kelowna airport or Vernon)
Before you leave Kelowna and before you cross the bridge you may want to stop and pick up the bulk of your grocery items. There is a convenience store out by the cottage but no large chain grocery stores.
Come through Kelowna and the floating bridge. Stay in the right hand lane and take the Westside road turn off to Fintry and Bear Creek and follow this road. You will now be on Westside Rd. Continue to follow Westside Rd. along the lake for 20 km. Once you pass Lake Okanagan Resort the cottage is 4.2 km away. Just past the Bella Vista sign you will find the driveway to the cottage marked with a wooden Secret Point #4215 sign at the roadside. Once you turn off onto our main drive the gate may be closed. Use the code to enter. (see below)
From Westside (coming from Vancouver, Penticton, Seattle)
Before you leave Hwy. 97 and well before Boucherie Rd. you may want to stop and pick up the bulk of your grocery items. There is a convenience store out by the cottage but no large chain grocery stores.
Come through the old town of Westbank and head towards Kelowna. Just past the Boucherie Rd. intersection you will stay in the right hand lane and take the Westside road exit to your right. Go up around the traffic circle and over the overpass and you will be on Westside Road. Continue to follow Westside Rd. along the lake for 20 km. Once you pass Lake Okanagan Resort the cottage is 4.2 km away. Just past the Bella Vista sign you will find the driveway to the cottage marked with a large wooden sign (Secret Point) at the road. Once you turn off onto our main drive the gate may be closed. Use the code provided to enter.
From Vernon (Kamloops or Alberta)
From Hwy 97, just before entering the city limits of Vernon look for the sign that says “Westshore. Fintry/Killiney”. Take this exit and you will be on Westside Road North. It will take you about 50 minutes to one hour from the Fintry turn off to get to the cottage on this stretch of Westside road. This route is more convenient if you are bringing a boat with you. You can stop at the Fintry boat launch on your way to the cottage. The cottage driveway is difficult to see when coming from this direction, so when you pass the Shelter Cove subdivision sign the cottage driveway is about 500 meters ahead on your left hand side. It will be a sharp hairpin turn to the driveway. There will be an overflow parking sign up on the hill to your right.
